From horizontal to vertical, without leaving the shot.
When you crop a 16:9 video to 9:16, the person usually ends up out of frame. Cruto finds them twice a second and moves the frame the way an editor would: still while you talk in one spot, with a smooth move when you walk around.
01Upload your horizontal video
From YouTube, a podcast or a camera.
02Pick 9:16
Or 4:5 or 1:1, and check "Follow the person".
03Export
In 1080p, with captions if you want.
- The person always in frame
- Smooth movement, no jerks
- You can also set the frame by hand
- The analysis runs on your device
What if there are two people?
It follows the one taking up more of the shot. If you prefer, set the frame by hand with the left-right control.
Do I lose quality?
It's cropped from the original at 1080p. If the original is 1080p horizontal, the vertical version comes out at the resolution that crop allows.
